The Holy Spirit resides in the heart through the simple confident faith of the mercy of God.  He knows the need of righteous man so it arranges for him the fullness of prayer and adds the spirit of humility to it as if the Spirit was in the need for the interference of Christ.

The love of God is different than the human love.  When it is poured out in the heart it changes everything inside.  The sign of the Holy Spirit dwelling in the heart is love.  The sign of the success of the Spirit in overtaking the heart is the overflow of love and its pouring out to others unconditionally.

It is impossible to have the love of the Father without the presence of Christ.  The declaration of love is the essence of life.  Declaring the love is not like the mere knowledge of the world matters.  Declaring the Father and the Son means their declared existence in our lives.  

"If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him" John 14:23

Christ here opens a mysterious road that links us to Him and the Father.  Christ gives the honour to the man who loves Him and enters his house, but what is really amazing is that the father also enters his house.  This man becomes a home and a house for God.

The secret of abiding in Christ is the true joy.  If we abide in Christ and keep His commandments, Christ grants us His Divine joy.  When man rejoices in Christ he completes His joy and reaches perfection.

Christ's last prayer to the Father was to love us as the Father loved Him.  The Mystery of the Father's love of for us is that we love His Son Jesus Christ.  The Father's love gives us hope in life; we don't worry about the world' hatred for the Father's bosom is awaiting us in heaven to make up for the years that locus ate up on earth.

Christ did not expect an answer from Simon, but He alarmed him to the lack of love from faith; this is a very important element in our relationship with the Lord.  The love God seeks of us is not emotional; but the love that drives out faith to reach the liberty of the children of God so we are guided by the Spirit of God. 

"And this is the promise He has promised us - eternal life" 1 John 2:25

If we do not taste the eternal life and the love of God here on earth we will not have any relationship or life with Him.  The eternal life is a life of continual joy and passion for God; it needs us to focus all our love and hope to deal with the Father and the Son.

In our heavenly home we all will have one stature in Christ; will enjoy His love and authority.  No more sadness or depression, but continual joy.  Christ will wipe out every tear from the eyes of His righteous people so they have perpetual joy shadowed by His glory.

Abiding in the Lord is the fruit of the mutual love with Him.  We are required to abide in Him so He abides in us, and the love of the Lord is fulfilled by keeping His commandments.  Keeping His commands is not an action according to the man's will but a response to the guidance of the Holy Spirit since the Holy Spirit is working in us.

"We love Him because He first loved us" 1 John 4:19

This inflamed love is a reaction; when Christ loved us first our love for Christ was initiated.  We did not have the initiative of loving Christ and the Father.  He loved us first when He gave up Himself for us on the cross.  His death proved His utmost love for us.

The power of Christ to draw man's heart stems from His rushing love; He never awaits your love but He always starts the loving relationship.  The moment your heart responds you find Christ awaiting you more lovingly.  The essence of this relationship is love that gives a meaning to life.

When we are Christ's we accept the Cross as a measure of life.  Those who live crucifying the flesh and desires are like a new spirit that freshens up the world and testifies to God and Christ.  Without those this world vanishes and is doomed.

This is the joyful and comforting side of the Cross of Christ; the Lord chastises us through pain for our benefit to partake in His Holiness "when we suffer with Him, we may be glorified with Him."

Our pains and sufferings have become not accounted against us but for us as a victory against the adversary's will.  The one who suffers, believing in Christ, has been granted to partake in the sufferings of Christ and be worthy for God's delight.

My son, do not care about your experiences and relationships with people.   Focus on the experience of God's presence with you; this is the life and the goal of all the experiences of life.

When your repentance is complete, and your life becomes revealed before God, then you experience the presence of God for He accepts those who repent to Him and gets closer to them.  So hurry up, examine your life diligently and throw your self underneath His feet.

Rest assured that if any hostility resides in your heart more than one day, it destroys what you gain through prayer and ruins your relationship with the Lord.  Purify your heart right away from any feeling of hostility so the love of Christ may shine in your heart.

My son, repentance delights God and restores your loving relationship with the Lord.  To repent, you may need to apologize to whom you sinned ; therefore pressure yourself if you hear God's voice in your conscience urging you to confess your sin and request forgiveness, with apology to God.

Month of March: The life of repentance 

The soul is placed between the flesh and the spirit; so it either unites with the flesh against the spirit, or unites with the spirit against the flesh.  Christ firmly stands against the fleshly soul for it is a real enemy which gets in the way of man's salvation.  Christ commanded us to love our enemies but also to hate the soul because He knows that man's hatred of his self is the only entrance into the depths of spirit.
