Month of July: The life of Divine Love

The love of God is different than the human love.  When it is poured out in the heart it changes everything inside.  The sign of the Holy Spirit dwelling in the heart is love.  The sign of the success of the Spirit in overtaking the heart is the overflow of love and its pouring out to others unconditionally. 

"..that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them" John 17:26

Month of July: The life of Divine Love

It is impossible to have the love of the Father without the presence of Christ.  The declaration of love is the essence of life.  Declaring the love is not like the mere knowledge of the world matters.  Declaring the Father and the Son means their declared existence in our lives.  

"If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word, and My Father will love him" John 14:23

Christ here opens a mysterious road that links us to Him and the Father.  Christ gives the honour to the man who loves Him and enters his house, but what is really amazing is that the father also enters his house.  This man becomes a home and a house for God. 

"If you keep my commandments, you will abide in My love" John 15:10

The secret of abiding in Christ is the true joy.  If we abide in Christ and keep His commandments, Christ grants us His Divine joy.  When man rejoices in Christ he completes His joy and reaches perfection.

"For the Father Himself loves you, because you have loved Me" John 16:27

Christ's last prayer to the Father was to love us as the Father loved Him.  The Mystery of the Father's love of for us is that we love His Son Jesus Christ.  The Father's love gives us hope in life; we don't worry about the world' hatred for the Father's bosom is awaiting us in heaven to make up for the years that locus ate up on earth.  

"Simon, son of Jonah, do you love Me?" John 21:17

Christ did not expect an answer from Simon, but He alarmed him to the lack of love from faith; this is a very important element in our relationship with the Lord.  The love God seeks of us is not emotional; but the love that drives out faith to reach the liberty of the children of God so we are guided by the Spirit of God. 

"And this is the promise He has promised us - eternal life" 1 John 2:25

Month of July: The life of Divine Love

If we do not taste the eternal life and the love of God here on earth we will not have any relationship or life with Him.  The eternal life is a life of continual joy and passion for God; it needs us to focus all our love and hope to deal with the Father and the Son. 

"Amen. Even so, come, Lord Jesus." Revelation 22:20

Month of July: The life of Divine Love

In our heavenly home we all will have one stature in Christ; will enjoy His love and authority.  No more sadness or depression, but continual joy.  Christ will wipe out every tear from the eyes of His righteous people so they have perpetual joy shadowed by His glory.

Abiding in the Lord is the fruit of the mutual love with Him.  We are required to abide in Him so He abides in us, and the love of the Lord is fulfilled by keeping His commandments.  Keeping His commands is not an action according to the man's will but a response to the guidance of the Holy Spirit since the Holy Spirit is working in us.

"We love Him because He first loved us" 1 John 4:19

This inflamed love is a reaction; when Christ loved us first our love for Christ was initiated.  We did not have the initiative of loving Christ and the Father.  He loved us first when He gave up Himself for us on the cross.  His death proved His utmost love for us.

"If I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all peoples to Myself" John 12:32

The power of Christ to draw man's heart stems from His rushing love; He never awaits your love but He always starts the loving relationship.  The moment your heart responds you find Christ awaiting you more lovingly.  The essence of this relationship is love that gives a meaning to life.

"The Kingdom of God is within you" Luke 17:21

We do not expect the kingdom of God' coming over time; it grows in the hearts enlightened by the word of God if the hearts keep the word.  The Kingdom of God is present and we need to explore it within us."

The man who gets into a covenant of love with the Lord Jesus loses his first attributes, morals, inclinations, and desires; because testifying to Christ and serving His words consume all his focus and hopes.  The love of Christ transcends any description or explanation.

I am with you all the time controlling, blessing and helping you.  No one can stand against My will for you if you trust Me and place your affairs in My hands.

"Our Christian life is essentially the "love of lovers" that keeps us closer to Christ.  We will be exposed to worry, sadness, confusion, and repulsion of life until we reach His comforting bosom and He wipes out our tears and seeds in us the joy and comfort.   Instead of ages destroyed by locus, His sun of righteousness shines out and healing is in its wings filling us from the richness of the Spirit and life."
