Protect them by the power of your name..so that they may be one as we are one (John 17:11)
Month of November: The life of Love and Christian Unity
"Christ asks His disciples first to be one by the power of unity between Christ and the Father, so that the church may be established in the power of His name. Notice that the unity Christ asks for , as a power deriving from the unity of the Father and Christ, is not meant to be imposed on them from outside, but He asks to be born in them from inside; that is when they keep in the name and by the Word and prayer."

"The knowledge of Jesus is a call for unity and it is also a call for love. There is no love without knowledge; to know Him is to love Him, because how could you love someone you do not know?! When the knowledge is complete, love is complete and unity is necessarily complete."

"It is impossible for two to worship Christ in truth and candor while they are in conflict and opposing each other. As long as the one who preaches the name of Christ is not against us, we have to get close to them in love and they also get close to us in love, thus we serve together one name."
