This is an excerpt of the daily devotionals I translate from Arabic from the Book "The Bible in reality of our life" for the late Father Matta El Meskeen.
"The peace of Spirit counteracts the tribulations of the present age with its afflictions and the body with its diseases ad pains. Thus if the spirit is absent, the peace, which surpasses the mind, will be absent. If we fall in the worries of the world and body, we will be besieged by the sadness and agony of death."
