This is an excerpt of daily devotionals I translate from Arabic from the Book "The Bible in reality of our life" for the late Father Matta Elmeskeen.
"Since Christ is our life, and our life is an extension of Him, such a terrible epidemic which is lying must necessarily be cast out of all our dealings. Lying is the first action of the devil whose first attribute is the liar and father of all lying. Lying is an extremely serious disease; it is trasgression of Truth, and Truth in Christianity is Christ saying: I am the Truth."
