"The word helps means the assistance that is available from loading one load on two people equally. The man prays and the Spirit helps; thus in prayer man cooperates with the Spirit Who brings about the help. The Spirit does not help that who does not pray because the help of the Holy Spirit depends on the man's will in prayer."
