"but if you are without chastening, of which all have become partakers, then you are illegitimate and not sons" Hebrews 12:8

Month of March: The life of repentance 

Whoever refuses the trials and tribulations, as if he says to the Lord: I do not want to be your son!  God's only goal of chastening his children is to prepare them with new characteristics for the new creature that they acquired as the children of God.  When you accept trials thankfully and joyfully, you prove that you are a true child of God having the new creature given to you.
