Month of January: The New Life

"In reality making of the faithful man by Christ is the process of putting off the old self and putting on the new one, to the extent that man becomes attached with Christ in one spirit.  Saint Paul ascertains that renewing of man's mind, along with his conscience and will, makes it easy to put off the old self with its actions and put on the new self  whom is taken over by the spirit of God by granting him the characteristics of the Lord Jesus in righteousness and the holiness of Truth."
