When your repentance is complete, and your life becomes revealed before God, then you experience the presence of God for He accepts those who repent to Him and gets closer to them.  So hurry up, examine your life diligently and throw your self underneath His feet.

Rest assured that if any hostility resides in your heart more than one day, it destroys what you gain through prayer and ruins your relationship with the Lord.  Purify your heart right away from any feeling of hostility so the love of Christ may shine in your heart.

My son, repentance delights God and restores your loving relationship with the Lord.  To repent, you may need to apologize to whom you sinned ; therefore pressure yourself if you hear God's voice in your conscience urging you to confess your sin and request forgiveness, with apology to God.

The soul is placed between the flesh and the spirit; so it either unites with the flesh against the spirit, or unites with the spirit against the flesh.  Christ firmly stands against the fleshly soul for it is a real enemy which gets in the way of man's salvation.  Christ commanded us to love our enemies but also to hate the soul because He knows that man's hatred of his self is the only entrance into the depths of spirit.

Christ here speaks to all the humanity giving her the redemption.  My friend, do not undermine the sin which rendered Christ crucified and gave Him the bitterness of death and the burial of tomb. Confessing the sin is the recognition of the Cross of Christ and His death; whoever does not have the death of the Cross has no resurrection.

Whoever refuses the trials and tribulations, as if he says to the Lord: I do not want to be your son!  God's only goal of chastening his children is to prepare them with new characteristics for the new creature that they acquired as the children of God.  When you accept trials thankfully and joyfully, you prove that you are a true child of God having the new creature given to you.

God, who calls us for repentance, has two characteristics: the condemner and the defender at the same time.  Thus in the new Testament, the return of sinner and his repentance do not take any rebuke, or blame because Christ was "wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities" Isaiah 53:5.  He made the way of repentance a divine mystery that spells God's favour and His gentleness, so how shall we escape if we neglect it?!!

The voice of God never stops and still awakens our consciences even after we committed the sin.  He never curbs His mercy from the sinner if he returns to Him no matter how heavy his sins and transgressions are.  God is the atonement for our sins; not only ours but for the sins of the whole world.

The Christian life is spiritually an action of continuous repentance and returning to God.  God does not attract the man to repent without his effort and passion; so the will of man must be effective in repentance for God does not force the man.  Repentance is a meeting between the loving will of God and the will of the weary and fearful man who seeks returning to God.

Christ told the sinner woman to go in peace before he told her to not sin any more.  She was  justified and had Grace in Him just because she was in His presence.  If you await a mercy from Him you will get it, and if you hope for a life with Him you will live.   He also called her to repent; as if He enthused her free will and supported her will by His.  What a hope this woman had?!  It is the hope that extends to us and to every sinner throwing himself in the hands of Christ.

What does the sinner need to accept the faith in Christ? Nothing!! he only should not reject the inner voice nor resist the call.  When he hears the voice of the Son of God he lives again and resurrects from the dead.  The Voice of God is a power, not only a living one but also attracting, capable to pull the soul out of death and move it forward.

Month of March: The life of repentance 

Sinners had favour in the eyes of God; they considered Him as a friend.  Christ made the sinner feel unashamed of himself before Him; but He made him repent and forget about his sin.  The sinner felt that his sin fade away in the presence of Christ; he was attracted to Him and entrusted Him as the giver of life, so he revealed himself entrusting in His healing and of life with Him.
