This is an excerpt of the daily devotionals I translate from Arabic from the Book "The Bible in reality of our life" for the late Father Matta El Meskeen.
Christ in this parable wants to illustrate for us that even asking for the Holy Spirit, with the assurance of the son with the father, must be fulfilled; for the children of God cannot live without the Holy Spirit as the sons cannot live without food.
