"When God requests in order to have the first share and love for Him, and to obey His commands more than the father, mother and the needs of body and its emotions, therefore He shows how much He cares to strip man off the factors of spiritual death that he holds on to; the self and instincts. Observe how much love and care for the human soul that is!"
