This is an excerpt of the daily devotionals I translate from Arabic from the Book "The Bible in reality of our life" for late Father Matta El Meskeen.
"The world, my friend, is a world of masks and shadows surrounded by deception from all sides, and beyond these appearances and masks exists the steadfast essence; the divine hand that runs it and controls its appearance and disappearnce. This is the world and its gifts and this is the nature of God and His blessings. The Truth that Christ gives "I am the Truth" does not disappear and never becomes opposite; the Truth is always one does not divide nor change; it is from the nature of God and it is the essence of His gifts."
