This is an excerpt of the daily devotionals I translate from Arabic from the Book "The Bible in reality of our life" for late Father Matta El Meskeen.
"Was the Lord actually not responding to Paul when he asked Him to heal him? Absolutely not! but He was responding secretively by supporting the man who pleads to Him in weakness; by giving him a power that makes him complete without doing for him as he wished. Likewise, we may think that our prayers are responded to or not because with God there are responses to prayers that we do not realize."
